About Us
Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) is the official missionary organization for Catholic children and young people in the Syro-Malabar Church. Inspired by St. Thérèse of Lisieux (The Little Flower), the patroness of missions, CML nurtures a missionary spirit through prayer, sacrifice, evangelization, and acts of charity. The movement encourages members to become witnesses of Christ by living the Gospel in their daily lives and participating actively in the mission of the Church.
CML is guided by the motto "Pray, Sacrifice, and Serve." Through regular meetings, faith formation programs, Bible study, missionary awareness activities, retreats, leadership camps, and social service initiatives, members develop a deeper relationship with God while growing in Christian values. The organization also encourages children and youth to support missionary work through small sacrifices, charitable outreach, and participation in parish and diocesan activities. These experiences help shape responsible, compassionate, and faith-filled young leaders.
Across parishes and dioceses, CML plays a vital role in fostering missionary zeal and spiritual growth among the younger generation. It celebrates missionary events, organizes cultural and educational programs, conducts competitions, and promotes outreach to the poor, the sick, and those in need. With the guidance of priests, religious, catechism teachers, and animators, CML empowers children and youth to become joyful disciples of Christ, committed to spreading His love and building a stronger Church and society through faith, service, and evangelization.
